Overview
GOSI registration is not optional, and it connects to everything around it: irregular contributions affect your establishment's standing, can suspend your services on government platforms, and will block you from closing your file later when you wind down.
The common errors repeat in the same shapes: registering a new employee late after they join, failing to notify GOSI when service ends so contributions continue, or a registered wage that does not match the actual wage — the last of which directly affects the employee's entitlements and your position in any dispute.
Rapture manages your GOSI file: registering the establishment and employees, updating wage data, managing monthly contributions, handling work injuries, and obtaining clearance certificates when needed.

How the process works
-
Register the establishment with GOSI
We register the establishment on the GOSI platform and link it to its commercial registration and labor office file.
-
Register employees and set wages
We register employees with correct joining dates and actual wages, since the registered wage determines both the contribution and the employee's later entitlements.
-
Manage monthly contributions
We track contribution calculation and payment on time, and update records on every joining or departure to avoid contributions that are not due.
-
Injuries and clearance certificates
We handle and follow work injury notifications, and obtain clearance certificates on wind-down or when other transactions require them.
Expected turnaround
Initial registration takes one to three working days; regularising arrears depends on their scale and age.
Frequently asked questions
Who must be registered with GOSI?
Regulations require registration of employees working for the establishment, with differing coverage and contribution scope between Saudi and non-Saudi staff. We review each category in your establishment and apply what is applicable.
What happens if contributions are paid late?
Late payment penalties apply, some establishment services can be suspended, and you will be unable to obtain a clearance certificate — which in turn blocks business closure and other dependent transactions.
Why must the registered wage match the actual wage?
Because the registered wage is the basis for calculating contributions and the employee's insurance entitlements. Registering a lower wage is a violation that exposes you to liability and weakens your position in any labor dispute.
What is a GOSI clearance certificate and when do I need it?
A certificate confirming no amounts are due from the establishment. It is a prerequisite for cancelling the commercial registration and deleting the establishment file, and may be required for other transactions such as certain tenders.
